This page sets out key information about LaaoDo and the company behind it, as required for an online platform.

Who operates LaaoDo

LaaoDo is owned and operated by MEDSOF ORBIT TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED.

What LaaoDo does

LaaoDo is an aggregator that connects customers with nearby outlets across many categories. Customers place orders on the platform, and outlets receive and fulfil them. We do not sell goods or food, handle payments, or deliver orders. Each order is a direct dealing between the customer and the outlet.

The platform also supports wholesale ordering between businesses. A distributor is a type of outlet that operates online only, supplies other outlets rather than the public, and is not shown to customers. A signed-in outlet can browse distributors and place a wholesale order, which the distributor delivers to that outlet. We are not a party to that dealing either.

Food safety and FSSAI

Food on LaaoDo is prepared and sold by independent food outlets, not by LaaoDo. Each food outlet is a separate Food Business Operator. It is responsible for the safety, quality, hygiene, packaging, and labelling of the food it sells, and for following the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and its rules.

Every food outlet listed on LaaoDo must hold a valid FSSAI licence or registration, and it is required to register. We collect the outlet's FSSAI licence details (the number, licence type, expiry date, and certificate) and show them on the outlet's listing, so you can see them before you order. The outlet confirms these details are valid and current and agrees to keep the licence renewed. If the licence is not renewed before it expires, the outlet is put on hold and stops appearing to customers until it provides a valid licence again. We may also pause or remove any food outlet that cannot show a valid FSSAI licence or registration.

MEDSOF ORBIT TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, which operates LaaoDo, is the Food Business Operator for LaaoDo's e-commerce food activity under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Our FSSAI licence number will be shown here once issued: [FSSAI-LICENCE-NO].

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.

How outlets are ranked

To customers, outlets are shown ordered by distance from the location of the device you are using. The nearest outlets appear first. The distributor directory, which only signed-in outlets can see, is shown as a searchable list rather than by distance. In both cases we do not sell ranking, and outlets cannot pay to appear higher.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings and reviews on LaaoDo must be genuine and based on real experience. We do not allow fake, paid, or misleading reviews from customers or outlets, and we may remove reviews and act against accounts that break this rule.

Payments

LaaoDo never collects or holds money. Customers pay outlets directly by cash or UPI, and outlets pay distributors directly for wholesale orders. Any payment question must be settled between the buyer and the outlet or distributor.
