How to Manage Dine-In Tables in a Cafe or Restaurant

Your tables sit on one board. Open a table for a guest who walks in, or let them open it themselves by scanning the code. Either way you can see what is on every table, what is still to serve and what it comes to.

Opening a table

Tap any free table on the board, enter the guest's name if you want one, and it opens. The table turns green and shows the running total as dishes are added.

A guest can also open it themselves by scanning the code on the table. You do not have to do anything for that to work.

Adding dishes at the counter

Open the table and use Add Items to pick dishes from your menu. Search for a dish or browse by section, tap to add, and adjust quantities before adding them in one go.

Anything not on your menu can be typed in with its own price.

Marking dishes served

Each dish has a tick box. Tick it as the dish reaches the table. The table card shows how many are still to come, so anyone glancing at the board knows where the kitchen is.

A dish the guest ordered and one you added at the counter appear as one line for the same dish, so you see one plate of food rather than two entries.

Moving a guest to another table

Use Switch Table on the order screen. The order, its dishes and its bill move with the guest.

Billing and closing

When the guests are done, choose how payment was received, split it across cash, UPI and udhaar if you need to, and mark the order completed. The table frees itself.

Print the bill from the same screen, or send it to the guest's phone.

Extra seating is for guests with no numbered table. It behaves exactly like a table and sits on the same board.
