Order From Table: Scan and Order QR System for Cafes and Restaurants

Order from table, often called scan and order, means a guest scans the QR code on their table, sees your menu on their own phone, and sends the order straight to your dashboard. No app to install, no waiting to catch a waiter's eye, and nothing for you to buy.

How scan and order works

Each table gets its own printed code. A guest points their phone camera at it, your menu opens in their browser, and they choose what they want.

The order arrives on your dashboard under that table number. You accept it, the kitchen sees it, and the table shows what is still to be served.

Nothing is installed on the guest's phone. The code opens a web page, the same as any other link.

Printing your table codes

The codes come from your dashboard. Choose how many tables you have, download the sheet and print it. Each card shows its table number above the code, so a card put on the wrong table is easy to spot.

You can print one per page, or four to a page with cut lines.

What the counter sees

If a guest's phone cannot share its location

An order still comes through. It arrives marked, and you look at the table before accepting it, which is a better check than any phone.

This matters on iPhones, where a guest who once declined location cannot be asked again by any website.

What it costs

Nothing. There is no subscription and no commission on orders taken through LaaoDo.

Frequently asked questions

Do guests need to download an app to order from the table?

No. The table code opens your menu in the phone's own browser. There is nothing to install.

How do guests scan the table code?

They point their phone camera at the card on the table and tap the link that appears. Every modern phone camera reads these codes without a separate scanner app.

What if two guests at the same table both order?

Both orders arrive under the same table and are billed together, so the table has one bill at the end.

Can I still take orders at the counter?

Yes. Walk-in and counter sales are recorded on the same dashboard and appear in the same day's sales record.

Does order from table cost anything?

No. LaaoDo charges outlets no subscription and takes no commission on orders.

What happens if the internet drops?

Billing, opening tables and recording walk-in sales keep working offline and sync when the connection returns. Guests placing new orders from their phones does need a connection.

Free for outlets. LaaoDo has no subscription and no commission on orders. Register your outlet and start taking orders from tables today.
