Order Alerts: Never Miss a New Order

An order nobody notices is a guest waiting and a table going cold. Alerts put the order in front of you the moment it lands.

Switching them on

The Order Alerts switch sits at the top of your dashboard. Turn it on and allow notifications when your browser asks.

What you get

• A sound when an order arrives
• A notification, even with the dashboard in another tab or the screen locked
• The order waiting in the tray above your tables

If alerts are not arriving

The commonest reason is the browser blocking notifications for the site. The switch tells you when that has happened and what to change.

Battery saving on a phone can hold notifications back. A counter device is better left plugged in.

Alerts for the kitchen

Kitchen staff signed in with kitchen access see orders on their own screen, so the kitchen does not depend on somebody at the counter shouting.
